The 2018 training season was a great success, lots of new riders that completed the course towards achieving their class 6 goal.
This years students were mainly coming from word of mouth in joining this course.
So many thanks to all those that recommended us!
This reaffirms that we're not only doing it right in it's delivery, but that our advantage of small class size and small town environment was a big part of their satisfaction in taking this course!

On average our pass rate for Class 6 road testing is over 90% successful !!
So get the advantage we offer of low student to instructor ratio having only 4 students in each course along with the small town low traffic experience!
It is a big reason why students are so satisfied with their results in their confidence and competence.

Lots of successful students have been stopping by with their new rides to show me their new pride and joy!
Now it's your turn!

Tip:
When passing through busy intersections keep your hands covering the clutch and front brake lever as it takes about a second of time to move your hands into place if you need to use them. This pre-defensive move could save you about 40-60 feet in distance of reaction time.

TEN POINT CHECK BEFORE YOU RIDE
> avoid disappointment and improve your safety!

Tires (air pressure, tread, rims)
Throttle movement (snap back?)
Brakes
Cables (frayed?)
Lights (Hi/Lo/Signals)
Chain adjustment (check users manual )
Horn
Mirrors (Loose?)
Nuts/bolts (tight?)
Fluids- Oil, Gas, Antifreeze etc

WINTERIZATION:
Here's a couple of tips you should either consider or do to prep your bike for the winter, especially if your storage area is an unheated area or outside.

Remove your battery and store it inside, do not place it on concrete as concrete can damage your battery. Place it on a piece of  plywood or board. You then need to trickle charge it every couple of months. See your service manual or dealer for any tech. details

Fill your gas tank full and put in the recommended amount fuel stabilizer. Run the bike for a few min's. turn it off that's it. This will prevent water build up in tank and stabilizer will  help keep your gas from breaking down and potentially gumming the fuel system.

Change your oil, dirty oil will separate leaving deposits internally, clean oil won't and your bike is ready for the next season.

Check your antifreeze to ensure it can handle the low temp of the area it is parked in.

Reminder that your tire pressure will change over winter so remember to check it before taking it out again.

As your doing this it is also a good time to look at brake lights, signals, cables, brake hoses, brake fluids and checking for any loose nuts and bolts also brake pads and tire wear.

Please contact me if you have any questions I could help you with!
